Spring Egg Hunt

On Thursday, April 2nd, Escuelita will host its annual Spring egg hunts for all of our students in the playground! All students will hunt in their regular playground during their regularly scheduled afternoon outside time. The egg hunts must start and end on time, with students returning to their individual classrooms, so that all groups can have the opportunity to partake in the fun.

All parents and families are welcome to accompany their children during the egg hunts! Although we have much more parking now than at the old space, please still ensure to give yourself plenty of time to find legal parking at or near Escuelita, especially as now we have traffic from our neighbors at IDEA.

Toddler/Infant Playground

  • 3:00-3:40 pm—Platinum, Gold, Silver, & Bronze Rooms

  • 3:40-4:20 pm—White, Green, Red & Yellow Rooms

Preschool Playground

  • 3:10-4:00 pm—Purple, Turquoise & Pink Rooms

  • 4:00-4:50 pm—Orange, Blue & Copper Rooms

  • 4:50-5:30 pm—Rainbow Room #1 & #2

We are accepting donations of plastic eggs, plastic grass for the baskets or containers, and healthy egg fillers such as goldfish, pretzels, fruit gummies, baby crackers, apple sauce pouches, as well as stickers or age appropriate novelty toys. Please refrain from donating candy or sweets and remember that we cannot accept anything that may pose as an allergen to children such as nuts of any kind, for we have students with life-threatening allergies to those items. Please bring your donations to the office area by Friday, March 27th.

Our staff will sort out and fill the plastic eggs and then disburse them to each group based on the age appropriateness of the treats. With the teachers’ assistance, the children will decorate a bag or container in which to store the plastic eggs collected during the hunts so it is not necessary for parents to provide a basket for the child’s collection of eggs.
