Our new forever-home: exciting changes ahead
In 2022, we learned that the Texas Department of Transportation's IH-35 expansion would directly impact our current location. While unexpected, this challenge has become an opportunity for Escuelita del Alma to put down permanent roots in Austin.
We're thrilled to announce we've secured our forever home! In Spring 2024, we finalized the purchase of a beautiful property on Bluestein Drive, just inside the 183 corridor. This location offers:
A purpose-designed space for our unique curriculum
Expanded outdoor learning environments
Improved accessibility and parking
Proximity to major commuting routes
Room to grow while maintaining our close-knit community
Timeline & Transition
Our planned move will take place in December 2025. We're working carefully to ensure a smooth transition that minimizes disruption to our children's routines and learning.
As we design our new space, we're incorporating everything families love about Escuelita while adding thoughtful enhancements that will serve our community for generations to come.
